But Rajeev shook his head. “There is no ‘us,’ Neeti. You betrayed me, and you tried to hurt Parvati. I can’t forgive you for this.”

Neeti collapsed onto the bed, sobbing as Rajeev walked out, taking Parvati’s hand in his.
