Vanraj, still deeply attached to traditions, intervenes. “Beta, brides are not supposed to attend certain rituals before the wedding. It’s part of our culture.”

Rahi’s face falls. “But why are these rules only for the bride? Why can’t both bride and groom be equal in everything?”

Anupama notices the disappointment in Rahi’s eyes. She sighs and places a comforting hand on her daughter’s shoulder. “I understand how you feel, but sometimes, we have to pick the right battles.”

As the family gets ready to leave, Anupama turns to Rahi. “Trust me, everything will work out. Just wait a little.”

The Shah family leaves for the Kothari residence while Rahi stays behind, feeling restless.

At the Kothari house, preparations are in full swing. The elders gather for an important ritual where the bride’s father is supposed to wash the groom’s feet. Vasundhara, Prem’s grandmother, looks at Hasmukh and instructs him, “It is time for you to perform the ritual.”

Hasmukh, visibly uncomfortable, looks at Anupama. Before he can say anything, she steps forward. “Maa ji, I don’t think it’s fair for Hasmukh ji to do this. A marriage is about equality.”

Prem, who has always believed in equal relationships, nods. “Anupama Aunty is right. I don’t want this ritual to be forced upon anyone.”

Parag, Prem’s uncle, interrupts. “Some traditions should never be questioned. This is how things have been done for generations.”

Anupama, refusing to back down, states firmly, “If we blindly follow old customs, how will we ever grow?”

Before the situation escalates, Ansh, Anupama’s younger son, steps forward. “I will do the ritual in place of Rahi’s father,” he says.

Vasundhara is taken aback but allows it, unwilling to let the argument continue.

Meanwhile, at the Shah house, Rahi is restless. She keeps checking her phone, looking at pictures from the ceremony. Frustration builds within her. “I won’t let them push me aside,” she decides.

Without thinking twice, she grabs her scooter keys and speeds toward the Kothari house.

When she arrives, everyone is shocked.

“Rahi! What are you doing here?” Vasundhara exclaims.

Rahi stands tall. “Why shouldn’t I be here? This is my wedding too!”

Anupama smiles proudly, but Vasundhara’s expression darkens. “This is against tradition. Brides should not be present at such rituals.”

Anupama takes a step forward. “And why not, Maa ji? If Prem can be part of these rituals, why can’t Rahi?”

Parag shakes his head. “This isn’t our way.”

Prem finally speaks up. “If Rahi isn’t welcome in these rituals, then I don’t want to participate in them either.”

The room falls silent. Vasundhara storms off, leaving everyone speechless.

Anupama looks at Rahi with pride, knowing that today, a small but significant change has been made.

Precap: The next episode promises more drama as Anupama and Rahi discover that Baa has secretly ordered wedding cards changing Rahi’s name to “Suman.” Shocked and betrayed, Rahi prepares to take a stand, while Anupama gears up for a confrontation that could change everything.
