The episode begins with a tense confrontation at the Oberoi house. Neelam storms into the living room, her voice shaking with anger and concern. She looks straight at Rishi and demands to know where Malishka is. Rishi, taken aback by her sudden aggression, tries to calm her down, but Neelam is in no mood to listen. She drops a bombshell—Malishka is pregnant.

Rishi is stunned. He stands frozen, trying to process Neelam’s words. Malishka is pregnant? He had no idea. His mind races back to the past few weeks, trying to recall if Malishka had given any hints about this. But no, she hadn’t. Neelam’s voice pulls him back to reality. She insists that he must find Malishka before it’s too late. Neelam is worried that Malishka might have seen him with Lakshmi and decided to leave. Rishi assures his mother that he will look for her.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Lakshmi is sitting beside Ayush’s bed. Her eyes are filled with concern, but she remains strong. Shalu is sitting next to her, crying silently. The doctors have informed them that Ayush is still critical, but he is responding to treatment. Lakshmi holds his hand and promises that he will be fine. Shalu, wiping her tears, looks at Lakshmi and says, “Di, you always manage to stay strong. How do you do it?” Lakshmi smiles weakly and replies, “Because I know that everything happens for a reason. We just have to keep faith.”
Rishi, on the other hand, begins his search for Malishka. He calls her repeatedly, but her phone is switched off. He drives to all the places she usually visits—the café where they used to meet, the park where they once had a heartfelt conversation, and even her house. But there’s no sign of her. Rishi starts to panic. He remembers the last conversation he had with Malishka. She was upset, but he never thought she would disappear like this.
Back at the hospital, Karishma arrives and finds Neelam sitting in the waiting area. She asks about Rishi, and Neelam informs her that he has gone to look for Malishka. Karishma sighs and then shifts the conversation to Shalu. She expresses her disapproval of Shalu and Ayush’s closeness. Neelam, however, dismisses the discussion, saying that it’s not the time to talk about such things. Right now, their focus should be on Ayush’s recovery.
Rishi continues his search. He finally decides to visit Malishka’s apartment. When he reaches her door, he hesitates for a moment before knocking. There is no response. He knocks again, louder this time. Still nothing. Just as he is about to leave, the door suddenly opens. It’s Malishka’s friend, who looks shocked to see him.
“Where is Malishka?” Rishi asks desperately.
The friend hesitates before answering, “She’s not here. She left in a hurry this morning. She didn’t say where she was going.”
Rishi feels his heart sink. Where could she have gone? Why didn’t she tell him anything? His thoughts are interrupted when his phone rings. It’s Lakshmi.
“Rishi, where are you?” she asks.
“I’m looking for Malishka. I haven’t found her yet,” Rishi replies.
Lakshmi pauses before saying, “Ayush is awake.”
A wave of relief washes over Rishi. “I’m coming,” he says and rushes to the hospital.
At the hospital, Ayush is awake but weak. Lakshmi and Shalu are standing beside him, relieved to see him conscious. When Rishi arrives, he immediately goes to Ayush’s side. Ayush gives him a weak smile and says, “Bhai, you look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
Rishi chuckles, trying to hide his exhaustion. “You scared us all, idiot,” he says, patting Ayush’s hand.
Neelam and Karishma arrive soon after. Neelam looks at Rishi, silently asking if he found Malishka. Rishi shakes his head. Neelam’s face darkens with worry.
Later, as Rishi stands outside the hospital, thinking about his next move, Lakshmi joins him. “You’ll find her,” she says softly.
Rishi looks at her, appreciating her support. “I don’t even know how to feel right now,” he admits.
Lakshmi nods. “Sometimes, we don’t have all the answers. But that doesn’t mean we stop looking.”
Rishi sighs. “I just hope she’s safe.”
The episode ends with Malishka shown sitting in an unknown location, looking at a picture of Rishi and Lakshmi together. Tears stream down her face as she whispers, “Why, Rishi? Why did you choose her over me?”
